Best. Trick. Ever.

If your silverware has been tarnished due to obnoxious hard water:

Spray straight vinegar on them before starting the cycle. Actually spray your entire dishwasher. Plates and all.

Bye-bye stains. Works like a freakin' charm.

I guess you could always soak them in water and vinegar before you wash them by hand. Rrrr...

Thanks, I will surely use this. I ususally buy Lemishine, which is a total miracle but this is so much cheaper. Yipee.
