My brother-in-law, Zac, has been an athlete his entire life.
Thad has told me stories of Zac's successful football career in High School, and his rugby adventures in College.
For as long as I have known him, he has participated in marathons and triathlons.
But today he is an Ironman.
What does that mean? It means today, starting at 6:30am, Zac:
Swam 2.4 miles.
Biked 112 miles.
Ran 26.2 miles. (Yep. That's a whole freakin' marathon.)
And finished it all in 13 hours and 24 minutes.

Zac clapping as he crossed the finish line.
Congratulations, Zac. We couldn't be more proud.

Awesome post, Amy. Thanks for sharing!
It was so great to have Thad here to support Zac. He took great pictures and cheered him on. Josh had a great time in the volunteer station. The kids had a ball with Tabby and Ike. Thanks for sharing your family for the weekend. Hopefully next time you will get to come too.
