Sipping hot chocolate with marshmallows.
Disappearing entirely beneath warm blankets.
Impromptu fireside book readings.
Sitting over metal vents to warm frozen toes.
Watching as fog slowly engulfs trees and houses.
I. Love. Winter.
For now.
Come mid- January, I'll be singing a different tune altogether I'm sure. But for now I adore this season.
Cause I love snow.
I figured if Mother Nature coundn't pull it together this year and deliver the white stuff, I had to compensate within the walls of my own home.

Oh, and I didn't alter the color setting on my photos. I literally live in sepia tone. I have color-commitment issues. But I should probably save the details of that quirky disfunction for another day.
