When attempting to be romantic, some guys buy stuff for their better half.
They'll purchase flowers for their wife, send her on lavish vacations, shower her with jewelry, or fund a glorious shopping spree at an enviable clothing store.
My husband surprises me with sticks.
Dead sticks. Branches really. He stops at the side of random roads along his commute and puts them in his backseat.
He loves me. But more importantly, he gets me.
Can't ask for more than that.
